This brand extension of Healthy Choice for children focused on a fun and wholesome lunch. A problem found with brands like Lunchables is the food is often not fresh or very healthy as they are high in salt content. The base of the lunches would be fresh food. Three different subjects were chosen to illustrate and design a themed lunch. The idea for the themed lunches are heavily inspired by Japanese bento boxes, which is a home-packed meal often with a theme like animals or pop culture.
The themes are designed to engage children around 4-7 years old. Each box has different types of food cut to reflect the theme. The illustrations on the back incorporate the food items as well; carrots as planets, watermelon as flags, etc. The side of each box tells a story relating to the theme.
